Our Classes
We have learnt from the last lockdown that if children do some work each day, reading, spelling and maths then when they return to school, we will be able to get them back on track.
By December 2020, having been back in school for two terms, most of our pupils who had done some work during the lockdown period were back at their expected levels.
Since the 5th January, we have had to shut the school to pupil's except for pupils of Critical Workers. Learning is now on line. Teachers are in school supporting the Critical Worker's children, whilst also holding daily check in meetings with different year groups, planning work for the next week, reviewing work that has been sent in and responding to any enquiries parents have. Support staff are also in contact with certain pupils with additional needs.
School Assemblies
Mr Webber has set a challenge to learn a Whole School Shanty, click on the Home Learning link, above , select the 'Lockdown school Shanty Assembly' file and work through the files, repeat an assembly if you need to.
How to use Oak Academy.
- Click the Link- it will take to you to the main page.
- Now select the 'Schedule' button in the top right corner.
- This will display the various year groups.
- Select the year group your child is in.
- You will then see the lessons for this day and the option to select a day from the whole week.
- If the lesson is referenced as part 2, I would recommend to do part 1 first.
- Record your work in your home Learning Book.
